A Praying Home: John Mark's mother was Mary. His home was a special place where Christians gathered to pray together.

The Big Trip: When he grew up, Mark went on a huge mission trip with Paul and Barnabas to tell people about Jesus!

A Mistake: But things got hard. Mark made a mistake, gave up early, and went back home. Because of this, Paul didn't want to take him on the next trip.

A Second Chance: Barnabas believed in Mark and gave him a second chance! They sailed away together to keep serving God.

Good Friends: Mark kept learning. He became close friends with Peter, and later, even Paul said Mark was super helpful to him!

A Great Helper: Mark didn't give up! He worked hard and even wrote the Gospel of Mark, a book in the Bible about Jesus' life and miracles.
